據酒店業人士指出，2008年新春期間澳門整體房價較08年將會升一成至一成半，三星級酒店團體房租金更會高至逾千元。可以預期，2008年新春赴澳門旅遊將較往年更火爆，酒店即時展現旺景。因為內地今年取消“五一”黃金周。今年澳門多家酒店新春期間訂房相當喜人，以及部分非賭場酒店更表示預訂爆滿。

今年澳門酒店整體營業收入隨著去年客房數量及租金上升，相信會同比升一成半。 以中區某三星級賭場酒店為例，新春期間的客房已近滿。房價同比升一成，卻較平日的翻近倍。

由於近幾年澳門旅遊業暢旺，酒店亦不愁無房客，今年新春期間更傾向於賣較高利潤的散房。
