Cotai Strip Construction Progress

Again, Thanks to one of the skyscrapers forumer 久地遊覽 and his entertainment reporter friend Ricky Nelson providing us with all these newly update at Cotai Strip

Cotai Central Mall, a 800,000 sq ft shopping mall, housed directly beneath the Shangri-La/Traders and St Regis hotel.




The building on the left is the St. Regis Hotel. The right one is the Shangri-La and Traders Hotels (both hotel share the same building, the left part is the Traders hotel while the right part with the cladding one is the Shangri-La Hotel), its expected to open in September, 2009.




City of Dream, consist of 5 hotel towers (Crown Towers, Hard Rock Hotel, Grand Hyatt Hotel and Hyatt Regency Hotel) and a 500,000 sq ft shopping mall, the project was topped off on the 1st of April and is expected to completed by 2009. The circular building I guess is the Hard rock Hotel.

Galaxy Mega Resort 銀河路氹城及娛樂場 - 銀河世界渡假村 (银河路氹城及娱乐场 - 银河世界渡假村)

The construction of Galaxy Mega Resort at Cotai, Macau onstruction has commenced and expect to be complete by 2008. The complex is locate in a very strategic location with bridges that link Cotai to Guangdong, China and the rest of Macau, as well as the Macau International Airport. This will be Galaxy’s first flagship entertainment resort and a must-see vacation spot for travelers from Asia and beyond.

The complex includes a deluxe hotel and a huge themed casino. Guests can expect a relaxing environment and courteous service in any one of the 1,500 deluxe rooms and suites available in the hotel.

According to www.galaxyentertainment.com, the casino will include approximately 450 tables, offering a wide assortment of popular and innovative games, and 1,000 slot machines in a pleasant, roomy setting. Players looking for higher limits can take advantage of the nearly 50 tables in a number of private VIP rooms. Galaxy Mega Resort will also have many themed attractions where the entire family can enjoy. Entertainment choices will include a water park, karaoke lounges, retail outlets, a health club and spa, amusement arcade and theatre. Also a number of variety dining options, including restaurants, cafes and bars within the complex. In addition, the resort will feature multi-purpose convention and exhibition facilities, as well as a business lounge making Galaxy Mega Resort the perfect venue for companies and businesses holding different types of conferences and meetings.

位於路氹城塡海地段的銀河世界渡假村（GalexyWorld Resort）位於路氹城塡海地段，將於2008年底落成. 第一期工程佔地共44公頃（106畝），銀河世界渡假村主體建築包括兩座酒店大樓以及一座娛樂場。整個世界渡假村以「神秘綠州」為主題, 用以東南亞的建築特色，而其宮殿式設計更注入濃厚的亞熱帶風情。度假城內建有各幢奢華別墅和小屋, 更有別具特色的奢華鞽房和客房以供客人選擇。度假城另設酒廊、酒吧、街頭娛樂表演、休閒花園平台、沙灘及人造波浪池。

銀河世界渡假村首期發展計劃將有三間酒店, 第一期酒店大樓計劃包括一間有1,500酒店房的酒店、娛樂場及綜合大樓，項目估計2008年底前竣工；第二期大樓將有兩間合共1,000間酒店房的酒店，其中一間為共410客房及套房由Okura負責管理、經營推廣澳門Okura酒店，預計於2009年底開幕。另外一間為Banyan Tree Macau的
254房間酒店。整個銀河世界渡假村以東南亞的建築特色建造, 計劃將提供2,164間五星級酒店房間。
